[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Thursday 14th<\/sup> October, at Ca\u2019 Foscari University in Venice, the event Hackathon <\/strong>organized by JEVE<\/strong>, Junior Enterprise of Ca\u2019Foscari University of Venice, took place, finally live, in collaboration with JTP Informatica<\/strong>, a leader company from Veneto region focused on Information Technology services and on giving IT support to companies and professionals.[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”15px”][vc_single_image image=”111468″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center”][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n

Hackathon: an opportunity for young students<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

An hackathon<\/strong> is an event which sees the participation of several IT experts whose aim is to find innovative solutions for an IT query, generally related to web programming.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Hackathon organized by JEVE is an important occasion for Venetian university students<\/strong> to challenge themselves as they participate in a real team competition with programming shots. Those youngsters enrolled in the IT course of Ca\u2019Foscari university had the chance to put into practice their own knowledge within the IT field by means of a practical exercise <\/strong>focused on web programming, created by the web team of JTP informatica. By working in teams, the students were able to meet new colleagues, also sharing points of views and ideas to finally do the exercise in the best possible way.<\/p>\n

At the end of the given period of time scheduled for the event, the outputs of the various teams have been assessed by a jury from JTP Informatica who indicated the three most worthy projects.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n

Prizes to be awarded and sponsor<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

Many are the sponsors who, given their collaboration with JEVE, have taken part to the local initiative, proving to be close to this student association of Ca\u2019 Foscari University in Venice. JEVE actually is part of the global network of Junior Enterprise and it reports to JE Italy.<\/p>\n

Also Patrizia Volpato\u2019s team took part\u00a0 to this event as a partner, offering the first prize to be\u00a0 awarded<\/strong>: a modern table lamp<\/strong> that we entirely produced ourselves. It is a lamp in hammered aluminum and elegantly sandblasted glass, that perfectly adapts to any area of your home which needs an extra source of light.
